About Nautische Unie Hunfeld

The Nautische Unie was founded in 1970, as a certified company to inspect inflatable life rafts for professional shipping. At the same time the Unie started inspecting small extinguishing equipment.

In 1979 the company moved to a new building in the harbour of Farmsum. The activities were extended to the supply and repair of boats, outboard engines, and various objects for recreational aquatics.

After the Nautische Unie was taken over by Scheepswerf en Machinefabriek Hunfeld B.V. in 1997, the name changed to Nautische Unie Hunfeld B.V. At that time we started to offer entire nautical and medical equipment packs, safety equipment, and personal safety equipment for professional shipping.

In 2002 we added a new showroom for recreational aquatics. The added 1000 m2 allows us to present our extensive assortment of outboard engines, inflatable dinghies, and polyester and aluminium boats. We also offer a comprehensive collection accessories.
The workshops for boats, outboard engines, fire extinguishers, life rafts and other safety equipment are all updated to contemporary standards.
